The first, on an unobstructed wall, was a snap. The hardest section was finding wall studs. Tightening the locking screws used to be a little tough, but not dangerous. The mount is sturdy, easy, and useful. I had no issues with the mounting screws, didn't need spacers, and located the attached stage as correct as my own (or as correct as my workmanship.) The 2nd set up was once in a cupboard alcove constructed into my new house. Everything went as sooner than, unless it came time to tighten the locking screws. The backside of the TV is best about four inches above the cupboard under, the facets are obstructed by means of other cabinetry, and, after all, the low-profile mount places the TV only about 1 1/2 inches from the wall.
